In the novel Of Mice and Men, George Milton, an aver climb on man, is Lennie Smalls, a mentally-deficient man, brothers keeper. A selfish person would have left him to get caught.         George no longer has to worry about Lennie when he puts him out of his misery. When Lennie minutely kills Curleys wife, he runs away to his and Georges hiding place. Curley and his men go out to find him, so Lennie will either turn out to be in jail or dead. George goes to Lennie and tells him to look move down at the river and to imagine their dream.
